AUCKLAND, March 4. All Auckland employers concernea in the huilding dispute stated througli their organisation to-day that they will not accept direction from the carpenters', drivers' or waterside workers' unions as to whom they shall employ. This was the outcomo of a fuil meeting of employers aflected and representatives of the Auckland Chamber of Commerce, Auckland Manufacturers' Association, Bmpioyers' Association and Auck land Master Builders' Association, which discussed the hoycott threatened by the three unions. A statement which was made yesterday by the secretary of the Auckland branch of the Carpenters' and Joiuers' union, Mr. D. McEwen, that certain firms had indicated tnat they would not continue to blhhklis: carpenters, was descrioed as "entirely incorrect."
