Waterside Junior Band will make its first appearance in the Horowhenua tomorrow, when it wilbjplay for the serpentine- piarcb at . . the marchfng champioriships at Otaki. At night the band will be heard in a concert in the College Hall, Levin, a most attractive programme being presented, including vocal and instrumental numbers, while the band will feature a drum display to the popular "Skaters': Waltz." Sunday afternoon, in conjunction with ...the Horo whenua Pipe and Levin Military Bands, a concert and display will be stag-j ed on the Levin- Park Domain. ! The boys of the band are being billeied, anfl, as some biliets are still require'd, citizens willing to help in this direction are invited to 'phone the secretary, Mr. W. C. Shilton, 540D, and leave their name and address. The 'band will be staying overnight and the meals required are tea, bed, breakfast an'd i dinner on Sunday.
