Bride Chooses Grey French Silk Crepe

Two well-known Wellington and Auckland f amilies were % linked on Saturday when the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Levin,- wa£ the scene of a pretty wedding between Joyce Enid, elder daughter of 'Mr. and Mrs. E. Ransom Myers, of Levin and formerly wellknown residents of Wellington, and William Henry, only son of Mrs. and'the late Mr. K. Blyth, of Auckland. The officiating minister .was he Rev. A. W. Salmond and the. organist Miss Anderson. The bride, who was given away by -her father, was dressed in oyster-grey French silk crepe with a Christian Dior neckline edged with deep lace. Her skirt was sw'athed at the hips to a bustle bow at the back, and was very full. Three-quarter dolman s'eeves, also edged in lace, a head-dress of swathed tulle and white feather flowers, low on one side of the head, and a white bouquet completed the ensemble. The bridesmaid was Miss Noeline Myers, sister of the bride, who wore foam green satin-backed crepe, with hip drapes, Her dress was finished in front with diamante buttons and she carried wine red roses to match wine red feathers in her fair. The best man was Mr. Trevor Stewart, of Auckland.

The church was prettily decorated with blue and white flowers, while the ushers were Mr. Maxwell Myers, of Christchurch, brother of the Jmde, and Mr. Jack Duncan, of Hamilton. • ,A garden reception was held at the ' residence ; of the bride's parents at Queen Street West, Levin. The 75 guests were- receive'd by the bride's mother, who wore a coffee and white flgured frock, hat to; tone and nigger brown accessories, j and Mrs. Blyth, who was attired in, riavy blue, With white hat and accessories. Among those present j was Mrs. E. Hobbs, aunt of | the brifle,' from" Invercargill. Other guests were present from Christ-j church, Wellington, Masterton, Pal-' merston North, Hamilton and Auckland The bride's travelling frock wasblue and white sheer, 'with fulli pleated skirt. She wore a royal blue boucle coat and royal blue hat, bunehed with feathers at the side.j The happy couple's future home will be in Auckland.
