Want Embargo On American Horses Lifted

INVERCARGILL. March 1. Concern at the continued embargo on the importation of American trotting • stallions to New Zealand, was expressed at a meeting of the management eom mittee of the Southland Trotting Owners', Trainers' and Breeders' Association. • It was decided to send a resolution to the New Zealand Owners7, Trainers7 and Breeders7 Association with a request that a determined elfort be made to overcome the conditions operating at present. It was decided to write to the New Zealand Trotting Association requesting that licensed trainers and drivers be issued with badges similar to those issued by the Raeing Conference.
