Trade Treaty With Holland
Received Tuesday, 7 p.m. THE HAGUE, March 1. A trade treaty eovering exchanges to the value of £60,000,000 in 1949, has been conciuded between the NetherIgnds and United King'dom. An oflficiat •announcement says the Netherlands will export finished products besides increased amounts of bacon and eggs in exchange for textiles, yarn and 800,000 , tons of coal. The treaty includes the resumption of United Kingdom trade with Indonesia which will send £8,000,000 worth of copra, palm oil and other raw materials in exchange for £13,000,000 worth of British goods.
