Junior Labour Party Holds Picnic
On Saturday the Levin Junior Labour Party held a picnic at Mr. Gorry's bush, at Ohau. Mr. Norton weleomed Mr. Coombs, M.P. for Onslow ,and Mr. eapstick, who both addressed the gathering. Competitions, lolly scrambles, free ice eream, swimming and sports were the .order- of the day. Mudgway l, Brian Whiley 2, Artnur Bassitt ,3Girls, 8 to ,12 years. — Marg'aret Morgan 1, Elaine May 2, Yvonne Lambert 3. Boys, 8 to 12 years. — Rex Mudgway 1, Brian Wyrill 2, Evan Kingsbeer 3. Toddlers, girls. — Browen korgan 1, Janice Whiley 2, Glenis Kingsbeer 3. Toddlers, boys— Arthur Bassitt 1, Ewart Kaikeek 2, Ivan Morgan 3. ■o.fcnior girls, 75 yards.— Miss1 P.
