i\ew z,eaiana's world record litter of pigs— 15 killed recently at Westfield — which has been presented by the owners, Messrs. H. Montgomerie and W. E. Bell, to the people of Britain, will provide one w&ek's l-ation (two oun'ces) for 25,000 persons, The gift is being delayed a month or so to enable Dominion pig produeers to see what can be achieved by ■ correct management in the hope that it will help to stimulate pig production here. Meantime, it is stated, the United I Kingdom High Commissioner is communicating with the Ministry ,Of Food regarding the -distribution [of the bacon to the most needy families.
