Junior Chamber Elects New Officers
Populsir local veterinary . surgeon, Mr- R- S. Long, was last night elected president of the Levin Junior Chamber of Commerce for the ensuing year. He takes the , place of Mr. N. Thornley, who hasj retired after carrying out his duties in a most efficient manner during his term of office. Members who attended the annual meeting paid tribute to the work of both these officers. The board for the year is as follows: — President: Mr. R. S. Long; immediate past president: Mr. N. Thornley; viee-president: Mr. N. D. Tilley; secretary: Mr. G. H. Sorenson; board members: Messrs, T. A. Kerslake, W. G. Phillips, P. Sissons, J. W. Lynch, A. Walker, R. Kenny, S. R. Foster and W. J. Barrat; auditor: Mr. H. B. Burdekin. * '
