The splendid support of the public was again in evidence and this week the collectors' bag was- returned with the surn .of.£p 2s.' , The presence of two Leviiti' ahd three Foxton cyclists added- to the' ihterest.of tlie -Cycling e!vents; ah4i^onie ;keen r^cing: was withe&sed. 'IThe cycle track was in gbod drder, having beneflted from being ro)led following the weekend rain. This week the Carpenters' team regained supremacy in the inter-house relay, defeating- the Albion Hotel team in the final. The following are the detailed results of events: —

Supporters of the club are re-. minded that a meeting will be held in Laurvig's- Hall following the usual Sports meeting next Tuesday evening, when arrangements are to be made for the fixture to he held on March 12. Several offlcials will be needed for the successful running of the programme and all persons interested in cycling or athletics are invited to attend the meeting and ofler their services for the day. ^ .
