Levin W.D.F.F. Hold Picnic At Ohau River
The first meeting of the Levin Women's Divisioh of the Federated Farmers' for 1949 took the form of a picnic, held at. Muhunoa East. There was quite a large lattendapce and members were welcomed on the river bank by Mrs. A. M. Colquhoun, president of the Levin branch." The day was perfect and the time passed very pleasantly in rambles, games arid for the younger mernbers,. swimming. A yoUrig visit or, with h bt piario-accd.rdion, entertained with catchy tunes, and added to the enjoyment of all present. Bevefal husbarids were aiso pfesent and were most appreciated at' billy-boiling time. The outing was voted a great success and a p'easant change from the usual social and business meeting.
