As weather conditidns Wei'e uhfavourable, the Ohau Women's Division of Federated Farmers did not ho'd ihe proposed picnic and( met instead at the Ohau Hall, MrsJ. A. Kilsby presiding. * It was reported that 13 food parce's had been pdcked fbi* overseas dispatch. Mention was made of the fact that Ohau had gained third place ih the winddw display arrangement at the Horowhenua A. and P. Association's recent show. This Work was in the hands of Mesdarties GUerin and Coles. It Was reported that arrangements had been made for a bus to take members to the garden party at Kianga Moe, in . Palmerston North, on Match 5. An informal talk was given by Mrs. H. J. McLeavey pn humorous incidents in her traVeis iri cbnnection with division matters. Competitions were won by Mesdames ■ Rowlands Senr., Kilsby and McLeavey. The hostesses for the evening were Mesdames Guerin, Benning, Ki'Sby, W. A. McLeavey and S. C. Saint.
