Asian Countries To Hold "Asian Games"
Received Tuesday, 9.40 a.m. NEW DELHI, Feb. 14. Asian countries will hold Asian Games on the lines of the Olympic Games, it was announced today. A three-day conference of sportsmen from the Asian nations decided on the constitution of an Asian Games' Federation. The Asian Games will be held on strictly amateur lines every four years, in even years between the Olympic Games. The countries which signed the constitution of the federations are Burma, Ceylon, India, Indonesia, Nepal, Pakistan, ^he Philippines, and Siam. Afghanistan is expected to join shortly. . m __
