Shannon Rest Room * At a meeting of the Shannon • rest room committee held recently, it was decidedi to accept a tepder for the'erection of the proposed rest room ' building. It is understood that the materials will be on the site shortly and a start made with tlie construction. within a week or so. Football Club Meeting A special general meeting of the Shannon Football Club is to be held in Laurvigs' Hall on Wednesday evening at 8 p.m. Matters1 which will come up for discussion will be in connection with the forthcoming jubilee of the club and' also the management of the Horowhenua Rugby Union. It is hoped that ' there will be a full attendance of members. - . - «
