Milk Surplus

Auckland consumes 36,500 gallons of milk daily but/through wet conditions, there * is still a daily surplus of 17,500 gallons. This was disclosed at a meeting of the Auckland^Metropolitan Milk Board. R. McKillop. The land, which is situated just north of the Makerua Railway Station, and is bounded by the Tokomaru Stream, will be used for research and developmental work in the flaxmilling" industry.
