WELLINGTON, Feb. 9. Palmerston Xorth audienees will be able to liear tio Italian Grand Opera Companv on IMonday aud Tuesdaw Harch 21 and 22. The full itineraty ot the conqiany was released today bv an oilicial of the New Zealand Broadcasting Servi'ee. It is not yet known what operas will be presented at Palmerston North. The company's season in Auck land has been extended by one day and it will now last from February 23 tc' Marcli'17. Palmerston North appears to be a little fortunate for only a limited num ber of provincial eentres could be visit ed as the company has to be back in Sydney before the end of May. The only other eentres to be visited in tlu North Isiand are Hamilton, Hastings, Naj)ier and Wellington. The Soutb fsland itinenary will com]>rise Olirist church, Timaru, Dunedin and Invercar gill. The full party of the Italian Grand Opera Company comprises nearly 200 [jersous. It includes 50 members of the National Symphonv Orchestra and it is eoming to New Zealand under the joint auspices of J. C. . Williamsou Theatres Ltd. and the Broadcasting Service.
