Intoxicated Car Driver
Before Messrs. W. McBeth and H. B. Edhouse, J.P's., at Otaki on Tuesday, Arthur Kawa Collins, - garage attendant, of Palmerston! North, pleaded guilty to a charge. of driving a motor car'while in a state of intoxicatioii. Traffic Inspector C. L. Davis told the court that he had received a complaint about the erratic manner in which a car was being driven in Waerenga Road, Otaki. He found the car parked with accused in charge. A medical examinatjon showed that he was unfit to dfive. "It is my first offence and I can assure you it will be my last," accused told the Bench. A flne of £10 was inflicted and his licence was cancelled for 12 months. ^ _
