Personal Mr. and Mrs. A. Narbey spent the weekend in Wellington. . Miss B. Harper, of Te Horo, has returned from a trip to Nelson and Christchurch. Miss M. Barrie, of St. Joseph's Convent, has returned from a vacation spent in Wellington. Mr.' J. Eaton, of Bell Street, has returned to Otaki after a four mouths' stay in the South Island. Mrs. G. Sutherland, of Otaki Railway, has returned to her horne after attending the florists' conference in Palmerston North.
Mrs. J. Templey, and her son, Brian, of Tasman Beach, have returned from a fortnight's holiday in Nelson. Mr. and Mrs. W. McEwan, of Kirk Street, are vtsicing Mosgiel on account of the death of tne latter's mother. Mr. S. D. Holling, manager of the Civic Theatre, commences his annual leave today. He intends visiting the South Island. Mrs. Holling is visiting Wairoa. The death occurred suddenly on Friday of Mr. Edward Humphrey Bracey, of Rangiuru, Otaki. The funeral was held in Wellington on Monday. Mrs. D. McTaggart, of Wellington, who has been on holiday in Otaki, staying with her mother, Mrs. H. Nicolson, of Matene Street, has returned to her horne. Miss M. Hodges, formerly matron of the Otaki Health Camp, is at present relieving matron .at the Heatth Camp, "Glenelg," Christchurch. Two local inmates of the Palmerston North Hospital who are reported to be making good progress are Messrs. Pat. Websoer and pat. Cootes.
