In the first innings of the Otaki club, Harris took six of the visitors' wickets for five runs in 5.5 overs, of which two were maidens. The batsmen who were dismissed by Harris' bowling were Harper (2), Rice (0), Heatherwick (0), Wiffen (1), O'Brien (0) and Morey (1). A Story of a Bike As dusk was breaking on Friday evening a local resident called upon his neighbour to borrow a bicycle in order to make a hurried trip into town to do some lastminute shopping. On completing his business he cycled home and returned the machine to its owner. By this time it was dark. However, on Saturday morning his friend inf ormed: hihi that he had returned the wrOng bicycie. Now, somewhere in Shannon, a bicycle has been stolen and another found. If the two victims of this unusual incident could get together many worries would be solved. It is not known which one got the better of the deal.
