NEW PLYMOUTH, Feb. 6. Head injuries causing 'immediate death were received by a well-known Central Taranaki stockbuyer, Mr. Clarence Wiffler Till, aged 54, single, of Miranda Street, Stratford, when his light car collided with a heavy truck on the Waiwiri Road about miles from the Toko School on Saturday. Two passengers in the truck, which was driven - by Mr. John M. Cooper, a carriqr, of Huiroa — Mrs. J. A. Loforth and her 13-year-Qld daughter— suffered shock. The truck struck the. car a glancing blow on the right-hand side, causing extensive damage.
