Received Sunday, 7 p.m. SYDNEY, Feb. 6. Bronnvich and Quist defeated Sidweli and Brown in the deferred 1948 New Kouth Wales men's doubles fmal, 6 — i, 6 — 3, 2 — 6, 6 — 1. O11 the previous Saturday they had defeated Sidweli and Brown in the final of the Australian championship at Adelaide. The president of ihe New South Wales Lawn Tennis Association, Mr. B. Fuller, publicly asked Bromwich to take up his place in the Davis Oup team. It is understood Bromwich will give his decision this week.
