Two Men Found Injured Near Wrecked Truck

Two men are in hospital as the result of an accident on the Foxton Road. Both were found near a truck which had run ott the road near the old stock route turn off. The Foxton police, who are investigating, said today that the circumstances of the accident ai*e not yet known. One of the men was brought to Foxton yesterday morn" ing and the other one was not found till later. They could obtain no information from either as to the time or reasons for the accident. The truck0, which was found in a paddock alongside the road, was extensively damaged and was later brought into a Levin garage. It was later ascertained that the injured men were Stuart Bartholomew and Dawson Tamihana, both of Waitarere, They are not on the hospital's seriously injured list.
