HAMILTON, Feb. 4. After a retirement of 40 minutes the jury broughtsLn a verdict of guilty in the case in who Cecil Kobert Gurr Otto, 38, of Te Awamutu, was eliarged with the murder of Kuth McGregor Stone, at Hamilton East on OetOber 23. Asked if he had anything to say, Otto said: "I would like to express my profound regret for what I did., I wonid like to thank Mr. Hill for the very capable manner in whieh he conducted ~?y defence. I would also thank the Gc ,t for the very fair trial I have receivec' ' Mr. Justice Hutchison imposed a sentence ox imprisonment and hard labour for life.
