More Thefts of Sheep Reported
.WANGANUI, Feb. 3. Thefts of more sheep from Wanganui properties have been reported by farniers. Recently Mr. D. McLeay, in the Turakina Vall(?y, lost 60 woolly Southdown lambs which were removed'from a paddock near the Turakina Valley Road. He advertised for them and offered a reward, but nothing canie of it. It is now reported that 150 sheep and 70 lambs are niissing from the property of Mr'. J. de Winter, Fern Flats, near Marton. He is offering-' £100 reward for their recovery. The manager of Mr. de Winter 's farm (Mr. W. Fulcher)" said today that| when mustering for shearing, a,bout thel middle of November, he found that 15U
ewes and hoggets were mlssing. He was further perturbed on Tuesday when he found that 70 lambs were missing. The paddock from which they were removed is at the back of the farm and about a mile from the Turakina Valley Road, where Mr. McLeay lost his sheep.
