The death has occurred of Mr. Charles Louis Bagnall, aged 65 years, of Dargaville, managing director and editor of the North Auckland Times and a well-known figure throughout the Northland. Mr. H. L. Jenkins, town clerk of Levin, today celebrates his 25th anniversary of his appointment. Mr. Jenkins beganhis duties for the Levin Borough Council on February 4, 1924, being previously town clerk at New Brighton, Christchurch, for three years.
