Motorist Pays Penally For Failing To Stop
TIMARU, -Feb. 2. Fines totalling £100, the eancellation of his driver 's licenee for three years and probation for a similar terni, were imposed 011 John Frederick Kliem, aged 34 years, by Mr. Justice Northcroft in th'e Supreme Court at Timaru today. Kliem was further ordered to take a prohibition order out against himselt for a term of three years. He was convicted with being intoxicated in charge of a car, not stopping after an accident, not ascertaining whether anvone was injufed, and not giving full practicabie assistance. Kliem 's convictions aiose out of an accident on the night of November 20 when a youth was knocked olf'a bicycle near Temuka l>y a motorist who failed to stop.
