Living in a small Single room in Wellington, for which. they pay £1 per week rent, are a man. his wife, three children and six dependants. The Wellington City Missioner, Rev. The man is Mr. John Knox, a son cf Mr. Hadfield Knox, for 24 years head gardener at the Otaki Sanatorium. He is described as a diligent worker, able to do dairy farm work, gardening or labouring. The desperate plight^bf this family need no stressing.
