AUCKLAND, Jan. 31. Tweuty-one inore scientists arrived at Auclcland by Pan-American Airway.-i elipper and flying boats from Australia and Fiji today, ,to..attend the Paeific Science Congress". They ' represented eiglit difCerent countries — Creat Britain, United States',. Hawaii, i'lulippines, Sweden, Lndonesia, Fiji, French Indo-Cliina and also" fihe Food and Agriculture Organisation of United Nations and South PacilLc Cpnimission. The leader of the United Kingdom delegation, Professor G. Robinson, a leadiiig British agricultural chemist aud member of the Roydl Society, was ontof the arrivals. The world famous Swedish botanist aiid explorer, Dr. R. U. Skottsberg, who has aceompanied, several Antarctic expeditions. also came by fLying boat. A pro'minent figure, in the, American delegation which arrived was Di'j W. jM. Atwood, Professor Emerit,us, of Clark University, direetor o-f the.graduate school of .geography at the University, and representative of nunierous other scientilic organisatious. -
