Jarvis Breaks Another, Swimming Record
DUNEDIN, Jan. 30. John Jarvis broke his second New Zealand record at the Ot'ago championships in the Municipal baths on Saturday night when he won the 100 yards under 14 backstrolce in 75 2-5sec., 2 2-5 seconds faster than the record established. last year by J. White, Nelson. Jarvis won nine titles at the meeting, five in the junior under 17 ciass and four in the under 14 ciass. Besides tWo New Zealand records, he broke oue other Otago record.
