NEW PLYMOUTH; :Jaji. 30. After lying 17 hours beside the railway line seriously injured, an elderly man who fell from the WellingtonAuckland express at Rangataua shortlv after 10.30 p.m. oa Saturday, was ad mitted to the Raetihi Hospital this afternoon. He was Mr. Reginald Mof fitt, a single man, aged 60, employed by the Air Department at Te Rapa as a gai'dener. Mr. kloffitt, who is though to be suffering froyi severe spinal in juries, was still" unconscious when ln was found. He said he had opened the door of his carriage to get some fresb air when he fell and landed beside the traek.
