Govyfight)
Received Thursday, 11.15 a.m, LONDON, Jan. 26, The Political Bureau of the Soviet Communist Party is making feverish preparations for a third world war, accord-; ing to a memb.er of Marshal Sokolovsky's staff in Berlin, Lieut.-Colonel Georgi Tokaelf,'; who has escaped to Britain. Colonel Tokaeff said he had reason to believe that Russia' would have the atom bomb not later than 1951-53. He said the chief of thePolitical Bureau was now conducting a most strenuous war propaganda campaign among officers and men to educate: Soviet soldiers in a spirit of' fanatical militarism. They were trying to instil a blind and fanatical hatred to everything American and British. Compulsory military service had been introduced into the high schools and secondary schools, and special services had been started to train civilians for war service.
