Youth Gets Tangled In Weeds And Drowns
ASHBURTON, Jan. 24. A youth, Bruce Alexander MeCJorkindale, aged 1S, an apprentice bricklayer, was drowned in Lake Emily on Saturday evening when swimming out to recover a goose which. fell into the lake after he shot it. The victim appeared to get tangled in weeds and called for assistance. Two companions who hurried to the spot, found that MeCorkindale had disappeared.
