More Factory Sites Being Sought
Some action towards the introduction of a town planning scheme was pressed for by Cr. H. W. Hakaraia "at WedeSday night's meeting of the Otaki Borough Council. The opinion was expressed that the matter was one that would require much t'hought, that there j should be no attempt to proceed , with undue haste and that expert j advice should be sought. ■ "We have been talking about it jfor the six years that I have been jin tne council," replied Cr. Hakajraia. "If we don't hurry up it will ibe too late." He added it had been reported to him' that sites were { being sought for the erection of more factories in the Otaki Borough. It was decided that the assistance of a Government town planjner be sought.
