/ WANGANUI, .Jan. 21. The New Zealand Croquet Association 's tournament was continued lierc today in fine weather. Play of a high; standard was maintained. A. G. Ross (Manawatu) was run to three games by Mrs. Cadwallader (Hamilton) in the. third round af the open singles. Mrs. ("adwallader won the first game aftev a hani tussle in which no quarter was given. Ross took the next game 26 — 9 and played splendid croquet in the finaj game to win 26 — 0. Results: Open championship, second round: J.
