Soviet Willing To Resume Austrian Talks
Received Friday, 11 a.m. LONDON, Jan. 20. The Soviet Union has agreed to resume discussions in London with representatives of Britain, France and the United States on the Austrian Treaty, says Reuter's diplomatic correspondent. The Foreign Office stated that the Russian Ambassador had informedi the Secretary-General of the Gouncil of Foreign Miinsters of his Government's readiness to take part in talks beginning on or about February 7. The last eonference on Austria ended in May in disagreement, the major cause of the breakdown being the Soviet Union's support of j Yugoslavia's territori-al and reparations claims against Austria. Since then Yugoslavia has been expelled from the Cominform.
