A. Fitzgerald) reported that he had been handed a petition from the ratepayers of Shannon asking for a poll to be taken on the unimproved rating proposal. He stated that public notice had been given and that February 12 was the date set down for the day of the poll. ■ Mr. J. T. Bovis was appointed returning Qfficer for the poll.
