Complimentary Dance

A successful dance, arranged by the Anglican Beach Hall Committee in aid of the Maori /Queen, Miss M. Ransfield,. was held on Thursday night. The attendance was pleasing, although not as large as was anticipated owing to a counter attraction. Music was supplied by Mr. and Mrs. H. Tews, the supper arrangements were in the capable hands of the Misses C. and M. Holmes and Mr. H. Jackson was the M.C. A novelty dance was won by Misses J. Whiteman and J. Goodyer, and a competition prize won by Mr. Ballinger was disposed of on the Q.ueen's behalf.
