Nevertheless, the next three "candidates have all made rapid adyances, and the first four are separated by. a small margin, approximateZy £17 10s. The figures are: Maori Queen, 10,700 (8282) ; Citizens' Queen, 9969 (8049) ; Farmers' Queen, 9415 (6215) ; Sports Queen, 9307 (5307) ; Textiles Queen, 5491 (5491).
