An-derson, of the Otaki P.O. and Mrs. Murray, of Dunedin, are^the guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. Reiri,' Otaki Railway. Messrs. H. and R. Jepson and C. Smith, of 6taki Railway, leave on Friday for Taupo on a fishing trip. Mr. Frank Southgate, of Lower Hutt, and erstwhile of Otaki, who recently underwent an operation,. passed through Otaki on Wednesday on his way to Rotorua. Master Selwyn Strom, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. Strom, of Te Horo, who has been a patient at the Palmerston North Hospital for some time past, is progressing very satisfactorily. He is shortly to be transferre'd to Rotorua for further treatment. Motor-cycljst Injured Mr. J. Winterburn, of Tainui, Otaki, was the victim of an accident when he was thrown from his motor cycle after a tyre had burst. He received concussion and abrasions to the face. The accident occurred in the Hutt Valley.
