Received Wednesday, 11.35 p.m. LONDON, Jan. 12. Margaret Allen, aged 42, a spinster, . was executed at Strangeways gao 1, ' Manchester. She was the first woman 1 to go .to the scaffold in Britain sinee 1936. A former bus eonductress of Rawtenstall, Lancashire, she was found guilty of the murder of Nancy Ellon Ohadwieh; a 68-year-old widow.
