Declared Dead But Body Still Warm
Received Thursday, 1 a.m. PARIS, Jan. 12. The t'unerai of'.Tean Olobours, a 01 year-old farmer, of Les Ves, has been postponod. until- a special panel of doctors has decided whether he is dead or alive. Clobours, who was taken iil with inllnenza on Wednesday, "passed awav" early on Satnrday morning, and 'he family doctor issued a death certi(icate. Friends and relatives who helped on Sunday and Moriday v^itb Ihe' funeral arrangements, noticed that the body was still warm and supple. They also say Olobour's back was slightly moist presumablv th rough perspiration. One of the relatives remembered that Clobour's grandmother had fallen ill at one time and slept for a week. A distant eousin, it was recalled, had also been similarly stricken. The local gendarmerie were ealled in ^and ordered the funeral to be postponed pending a further examination.
