WELLINGTON, Jan. 11. In a statement-today the Minister m eharge of Givil Aviation, Mr. Jo'nes, said the International . Civil Aviation Organisation was holding three technical meetings duing January and lebruary to discuss problems of communications, operations and airworthiness. "Tlie meetings are being held in Montreal, hea'dguarters of the organisation," said the Minister, "and New Zealand is being represented by technical. ofiicers of tlie civil aviation branch. Mr. I. A. Scott, Deputy Director'of Civil Aviation and Mr. U. F. Jenkins, priucipal communication - otficer, will represent New Zealand a. the conununications division meeting 'Mr. Scott will also attend the opera tions division meeting. At the air wortliiness division meeting which Will meet on February 22, New Zealand wil' be represented by Mr. E. F. Carpenter, chief aeronautical engineer.
