Saw Ghost Of Pretty Nurse
Beceived Wednesday, 9.40 a.m. LONDON, January 11. The ghost of a pretty nurse with golden hair, carrying what appeared to be a knif'e, has been seen in the Nottingham Public Health laboratory by three girls, two of them laboratory technicians. One girl said: "We went into the guiriea pig house to feed the guinea pigs. We had just given them some cabbage leaves when suddenly they all stopped squealing. There was absolute silence and the atmosphere went cold. Then the nurse appeared. First she put her left hand through the slightly open door, holding what looked like an instrument or knife. Then she glided before it and after a few m'oments vanished. I had a clear vision of her and could identify her in a.minute. The guinea pig house used to be a mortuary. The ghost nurse ,was about 27, with a.very pretty face and golden' hair." The ddctor in charge of the laboratory said : "It is strange that three girls should each give the same description independently. I am not a sceptic. If a person says she saw something, nobody can prove that she did not. They are sensible girls, aged 16, 19 and 20. I would like to get to the bottom of the matter."
