Received Monday, 7 p.m. OTTAWA, Jan. 9. Canada will send about (59 atiileter, and 10 oflicials to the 1950 Empirc Games in Auckland, it was learned today. The team will leave on December '22 and be away about two montlis. The Canadian Govemment will be asked to pay tlie team's exijens^es — about 100,000 dollars.
