i WELLINGTON, Jan. 10. The women's softball tournament at Atliletic Park was continued todav with tlie openiug of inter-club cliampionsliip for thc-Dustin Cup. An earlv sensation was the defeat of the hoiders ( Richmond Kaccoons, Auckland) by Mapiu Leaf (Hamilton) and later Kaiiways (llutt) accounted for last season 's runners-up Miramar Aces (Wellington). A special trophv for uniform and marcli pas.t was awarded to Maple Leaf with Richmond Kaccoons runners-up.
