Swimming Stars Appear Tomorrow
Tomorrow will be. catnival night for the Levin Swimming Club, and local interest will be still more heightened by the appearance at the Coronation Baths of three well- ■ known J^ew Zealand swimming stars, Miss Betty Casey (freestyle champion), Miss Forsyth (breaststroke champion) and Miss Ngaire Lane (New Zealand's representaiive at the Olympic Games). Much , work. has gone into. -the arrangements for the event and the club is to be congratulated on its enterprise in securing such talent for competitive and demonstrative purposes, The visiting stars will give demonstrations after each event on Wednqsday night, and on the Thursday members of the public who know the rudiment^ of swimming cah attend between th'e hours of 10 and 11.30 a.m. and 2 and 4 p.m, and teceive instruction from these three top liners. Members will receive instruction on Thursday night between 7 and 8.30 p.m.
