Civic Theatre
Screening on Monday and Tuesday at the Civic Theatre is "The Assassin," starring Randolph Scott and Barbara Britton. Filmed in glorious cinecolour at the Painted Desert of Arizona, "The Assassin" tells the thrilling story of the days when men lived, loved and died by the rule of the gun, and it contains all the excitement and rousing turbulence which characterised the Westward sweep of the pioneers, the mighty struggle for power in the rich and undeveloped lawless West!
