New Year's Day Sports At Paraparaumu
C'Chronicle" CorVespondent) A beautiful summer's day favour- ; ed the Paraparaumu Amateur t Sports Club for its annual meeting , on New Year's Day. A large crowd attended, inclu'ding a number of visitors. The recreation ground was in excellent order and some very good contests were witnessed. One accident oceurred during the day and marred the five-mile cycling event. Two riders collided and one received a badly cut leg. He was attended by the St. John Ambulance men present.
