Top Line Swimmers To Visit Levin
Next week will be a memorkhle one for the Levin Swimming Club, for it WF1 mark the- visit of three of / New Zealand's top line swimmers, including the 1948 Olympic representative, Miss Ngaire Lane. The others will be Miss Forsyth, cham- . pion breaststroke, and Miss- Betty Casey, champion freestyle. They Will arrive in Levin and be in attendance at the locai club's swimming carnival on Wednesday night when they will be seen in exhibitions and will compete in the handicap events. The following night they will give "tuition to club- members -And school children. The times Qf tuition are advised in today's issue. On Tuesday the Foxton Club is holding its club night and the members of the Levin Club are inVited to participate, andr have an opportunity of meeting the New Zealand swimming Stars who will be present. A bus will leave the Levin baths for Foxton at 7 p.m. for members and their friends, Those who intend making the trip are asked to notffy the secretary, Miss Wills, telephone 351, before Saturday.
