Praiseworthy Innings By Horowhenua
A brilliant eentury by H. F. Rice, the former Wellington representative, gave Horowhenua a good start in the two-day match against the. Wellington Brabin Shield team at the Basin Reserve yesterday. His 105 included 17 fours. Other bats- , men to get among the runs whre W. Galloway (39), E. Barraud (28) and C. Carmont (22). Wellington opened badly, Lawson being .bowled' by Saunders in the first over.
