Fogden, Tasman Road, Otaki. Shoals of Kahawai Great shoals of kahawai have been passing up and .down the beach quite close inshore at Paraparaumu, and are a great sight as they churn the water. Thousands of gulls have been busy wheeling and diving in their efforts to catch the fish as they.swim past.
